Gemini Gladiator

(The Lion & the Polar Bear)

A photograph hits my leg, next the floor

Two sips followed, set a line through a curve
Mimicked the sound of one hand clapping
And it reminds me of a forgotten door, known once more

~ As both angels and demons inhale clouds on the wings of planes ~

~ We shall not be afraid ~

So I embrace myself like no one else needs to know

Strange, funny, happy, sad, clown-eared arbitress driven mad
Tendering all that matters, it’s what we’ve been sold
Like ‘understood’ egoism, too pretentious to shatter molds

Though both sides believed to be divided

Said that nothing matters beyond my desires
Like misunderstood enlightenment reunites landing-strips
For the already crash-landed/stranded and disfigured

~ You and You are not ‘you’ on the wings of egoless plains ~

~ We shall not be afraid ~

Push the lands into the oceans,

Sinks into the space between you and you
Are not me at all, is what they heard him say
Pending the ordinarily serious, now that’s just fucking hilarious!

And a photograph rises beside my leg, stirs the air

Two sips followed, set a line through a curve
Mimicked the sound of what cannot be apposed
And it reminds me of a spiral staircase, twice over-shared ~

Twice over-shared
Twice over-shared
Twice over-shared
