Richfield Village Trustee Candidate, MICHAEL SHEA (left) responds to a question

asked by State Representative DON PRIDEMORE (right) who moderated the candidate
forum held at Richfield Elementary School on March 17th. Of the four invited candidates
running for village trustee, MICHAEL SHEA was the ONLY one who attended this
important community event and shared his views with Richfield citizens.
PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT MICHAEL SHEA: Mike is married with two children and
has been a resident of Richfiela since 1985. Mike is a retired police officer w 0 holds both a
Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement (UW-Milwaukee) and an Associate's Degree in Police
Science (MATe). He is currently a School Board Member for the Richfield Joint School District
and has served as the Board's Vice-President, Clerk, and on five separate board committees.
MICHAEL SHEA'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS ON THE RICHFIELD SCHOOL BOARD INCLUDE:

Turning an Operating Deficit of $400,000 into an Operating Surplus of $587.000.

Reducing taxes three times bringing the property tax levy down by over 50%.

Fostering a more productive. cooperclltive environment between the district

administration, teachers and parents.

Making necessary school building; renovations without raising taxes to do so.
