1. Didactic Reflection

1.1 Curriculum Analysis


This is the curriculum analysis of SEHIA fourth semester .The course's
name is Electro mechanical system. In this course describes what kind of
Diode. This course will be taken in electrical Mechanic department.

Course Description:
This course intends to develop those skills through a series of lectures,
laps, and class discussions. The student will gain practical knowledge
and understanding of logic, control system, pneumatic systems, electric
motors, valves, sensors, and other industrial load and control devices.

1.1.1 General objective of the course:


The aim of the course is to teach the trainees the fundamentals of
automatic control technology that enables them to understand the
control systems used in industry. This course enables the trainee to
apply some simple control systems using diode.

1.1.2 Specific objectives of course:


When the trainees finish each module units they will get some skills
related to the unit so at the end of trimester they have to be able to:

Explain the basic electrical works.

Describe the principles of operation for DC chopper circuits.

Explain the characteristics of AC current.

Describe the types of diodes.

Describe the types of conductors.

Content Analysis:
Diode is one of the most important topic in electro mechanical department
that related control system so, there are different types of defining and
explaining its steps in the Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute
(SEHAI) .

1.3

Didactic Analysis
Diode is most electronics devise for SEHIA students. They have understand all
information about diode: made of, connection , terminals, and how it works. In
this lesson I will teach student how we controlling of current to converting
from AC to DC.
1. Didactic principals I will apply :

1.1.

Principle of vividness:

By draw the circuit with students, and change the way of teaching. And will
better when use different colors.

1.2.

Principle of method changes:


The trainer uses different method ( Questioning - Explanation

searching ) and
(Group Work) & (Individual Work) because not all trainees understand
the lesson when the trainer uses one method.

Principle of practical relevance:


The trainer does the experiment for the trainees to understand how the
diode works in practical not just in theoretical and they not forgetting
