A Radical Reflection

Two games were played today during class, Four in a Row Fractions and Order in the Court. Using
complete sentences discuss the following prompts as thoroughly as possible. This assignment will
be graded as an open-ended assignment and each question will be worth 20 points towards your
overall 100 point grade. A paper copy of your completed assignment should be ready to turn in at
the beginning of class.
1. List two mathematical concepts that were practiced and reinforced for each game.

2. Which game did you find most challenging and why?
3. Identify a strategy you used during one of the games to give yourself an advantage. Why did you
choose this strategy?
4. Order in the Court requires the use of double 10-sided die. If you were given a choice to use a
double 20-sided die or a double 6-sided die which would you have chosen and why?
5. In Four in a Row Fractions, would it be the best approach to randomly add or subtract fractions in
hopes that you would find the answer on the game board?
