Monday; December 1st We will be taking a

pretest on Famous Americans

Tuesday; December 2nd - George Washington

Wednesday; December 3rd Thomas Jefferson

Thursday ; December 4th Abraham Lincoln

Fall 2014

This week we will be starting a ten day unit

on Famous Americans! We will be learning about
the contributions that George Washington; Thomas
Jefferson; Abraham Lincoln; Rosa Parks; Thurgood
Marshall; Martin Luther King Jr.; and Cesar Chavez
made to our country, and the basic principles that
helped to form todays government. On
Wednesday we will be having a guest speaker from
Monticello join us in class as we learn about
Thomas Jefferson. The students will be checking
books out from our Curriculum Reading Corner!
Please take some time to read these books with
your students to help them prepare for the topics
we will be studying!
*If you have any construction paper, or other
supplies that you are willing to donate please email
me. This unit will involve lots of materials!
