I have had the pleasure of knowing Elizabeth for the past year. She has proven herself to be a
passionate Advocate / Crisis Line intern while providing crisis intervention and advocacy to
both crisis line callers and the shelter clients. She uses empathy and active listening skills
while working with shelter clients and crisis callers. Elizabeth is dependable, takes feedback
well, and applies it to her every day work. Elizabeth is always willing to go above and beyond
to get things done while completing her internship and does so in a timely manner. She is
professional with residents as well as staff. She also communicates both verbal and written
