Describe your cultural adjustments: Sometimes moving or a change in your
life involves a cultural adjustment even though it doesnt involve learning a new language. Have you ever had any experience you considered a cultural adjustment? As an introduction for me, describe in a few sentences, any cultural adjustment you have made and its impact on you (at any time during your life). The largest cultural adjustment I have faced was in high school when I transferred from Brighton High School to Riverton High School. This was quite the adjustment for me because it forced me to move to school where I didnt know anyone and to a place that had a different cultural standing. The hardest difference was the different social differences. For example one social standing that was singular was that at Brighton High School there were social clicks where only the people you knew from childhood could be your friends and hang out with you. Where as at Riverton, everyone embraced you with open arms and there were no such things as identifiers. This was just one of the many differences. This has made such an impact on me because it allowed me view people in a different light, to see that we are all unique and come from different places that causes us to act differently according to what we are surrounded by.
