Chapter 1: Introduction to Economic Models
This chapter offers a brief introduction to the concept of economic models.
The chapter is fairly self-explanatory, so you should read it and then take the associated practice
quiz and the quiz.
You may use whatever resources you like when doing the on-line quizzes. This is true for all of
the quizzes.
The time limit for all quizzes is one hour. This will not be a constraint for the earlier quizzes, but
may become more important in some of the latter chapters.
The quiz for this first chapter is comparatively easy and is intended primarily as an introduction
to the quiz mechanism, and, as such, the score on this first quiz will not be included in your
overall total.
