Description

Project Planning
Group Statement A statement that expresses our understanding of the requirements
of the ICT project. Each member will write a set of bullet points
which will brought together into one concise statement.
Mindmapping SpiderScribe mind map of project plan, links to curriculum. Bree
wrote the initial mindmap, which included the ideas for the
project,lesson 1 and 2. Lara wrote lesson 3 and 4. Jordan edited
lesson 3.
Project Plan Outlines the project components, their descriptions and responsible
group members. This was edited by all members.
Forward Planning Each group member will write their own lesson details, and these
will be brought together into one document. Lara formatted the
document and also wrote the forward planning for Lesson one
(group lesson), from the group lesson plan.
ICT integration statement This statement will outline each ICT used throughout the project,
and explain the reasons behind their use. Each group member will
write their own ICT statements for their individual lessons. These
will be incorporated into one document by Lara. The group lesson
ICT statements were written by all group members.
Learning theory statement This statement will outline the learning theory that underlines the
project (Social Constructivism, cooperative learning). Each member
will write a set of dot points and these will brought together into
one statement.

Introduction to Stereotypes and Social Categorisation.

Weebly set up The Weebely page has been set up and edited by all group
members. Lesson one was designed and edited by all group
members. The remaining lessons will be designed by the group
member responsible and then proofread and edited by other group
members.
Padlet set up Padlet will be used throughout all lesson plans and an account was
set up for this purpose.
Lesson 1 plan A draft lesson plan was written up initially by Bree, and then edited
and re-arranged by Lara to suit time-limit requirements of the
presentation.
Avatar program search All group members searched and reviewed avatar building programs
for use in lesson one. These were then discussed as a group and the
most appropriate program was used.
YouTube video search Each group member searched for YouTube videos for use in the
lesson presentation. One video was selected to show during the
lesson. Other videos may be made available on the resources page.

This was completed as part of the presentation by the group. All


members met to discuss the lesson plan and sequence. Bree set up
the Weebly page for lesson 1, however it was edited by Lara and
Jordan.
Consequences of stereotypes and I am not my stereotype project
This plan will cover the second lesson on the Weebly which is
focused on the consequences of stereotyping.

KidBlog: students will add to the blog at the end of each lesson,
answering questions relating to the learning objectives.
Weebly Resource page
This will contain additional links not used in lessons and study tools
for the students. Each group member will contribute their own
study tool for their individual lessons. Bree created the lesson 1
study resources.
Weebly Assessment Rubric Contains the assessment rubric (KidBlog).
Weebly Conclusion and
Contains a set of reflection questions for students.

Our group has been communicating via a Facebook page we created specifically for this project. This has been a very effective mode of
communication as we have all had quite conflicting schedules.
