Synopsis
: A young mermaid has been sheltered all her life, but accidentally meets a human by saving him from
death when his ship bursts into flames. Ariel brings Eric up to shore, then leaves him. She never does forget about
him, and dreams about seeing him again. Triton finds out, and forbids Ariel to see her prince again. Ursula knows
of this, and makes a deal with Ariel. She takes Ariels voice in order to give her legs.

Interesting Facts:

In the original drawings, Ursula was suppose to be a spine or a scorpion fish with lots of spikes.
Sebastian was supposed to have a British accent
Ursula was supposed to be Tritons sister
The actor that plays the voice of Prince Eric is 16 years old
It took a full year to create the storm scene which is 10 minutes long
Flounder is not actually a flounder fish
Mickey Mouse and other disney characters are included in the movie
When Flounder talks to Scuttle, he physically turns into a seagull for a few seconds.
Many of the sailors dancing on Prince Erics ship are portrayed as people from the staff
