2A Stakeholder Role
Instructions
Now that you know who your team members are, the scenario, and your role,
prepare for the charrette activity by completing the items listed below.

Stakeholder Identity: Building Inspector/Code Enforcer

What is the nature of your work? What are your areas of expertise?
My Job is to issues permits for new construction, fences, pools etc.The
Code Enforcement Officer responds to complaints of violations of Building
Codes.I spend much of his time on the road talking to contractors and
individuals working on changing their homes.

What issues are you responsible for that potentially no other stakeholders would
know about?
How Structurally Stable the structure is, the use of different supports and
Knowing policies that need to be enforced based apon the location of the
Structure

Going into the charrette, list the top five issues in order of importance that you
want to address during the meeting.
o Supports used
o Where the supports are placed
o The Tension and Compression Capabilities of the structure
o Is the Structure up to current building code standards?
o Is the structure in compliance with local ordinances?

List any other important notes to yourself as you prepare for the charrette.
