A resiliens young woman, a devoted studers. and a compassionate community member. these characteristics ‘describe Sophia Henderson. | first met Sophi whten she was a student in my sophomore College-Prep English ‘lass two years ago. She has maintained contact with me throughout these past two years consistently, even as she has moved away from Helix High School and in to Sen Diego Charter to finish high school. Sophia's entire future lies ahead of her and she is determined to make the future bright despite her daily struggles 10 ‘overcome « multitude of disabilities.
