not appointed by the law.

rule separating whites and blacks in movie theaters was
only in a specific theater in a specific town rather than an
actual law.

locations of the beach from whites. It was a common

the Montgomery Bus Boycott when Rosa Parks was
arrested for refusing to give up her seat for a white
passenger.

These white citizens had a very negative


reaction to this black citizen. They are brutally
hurting this man for whatever reason, and no
one bothers to stop them or even help the poor
man.

The woman on the right does not


approve to where the black man is sitting
on the bus. The look she is giving him
represents confusion and disgust.

The cops in this picture are just allowing


the dogs to maul this woman. Whatever she
did, or if she even did anything, there is no
reason for her to be attacked by dogs.
