Plotline

Team consisting of seven gymnasts aged 10-14 on their journey to the biggest competitions in
the country, all for a chance to compete in the World Championships! Watch as esteemed Coach
Chong-Po Susumu leads the girls of Golden Gymnastics Academy from Orlando, Florida to
mighty victories, and disappointing losses each weekend.
Follow the girls as they have to compete as a team, but also are forced to battle each other
individually. Is Avery really the best? Can Logan and Jasmine put their sister rivalry behind them
so they can compete as a team? Will The Nadia Comneci Memorial Gymnastics Club from
Atlanta, Georgia challenge the Golden Girls in a upcoming face off? The pressure is on and the

Top Olympic Coach

Coach Chong-Po Susumu was a previous olympic
gold medalist in 1984. Training for the 1988 World
Championships he tore his ACL while practicing the
simple dismount back gainer-fulls . He had done this
dismount countless times before but the one time he
landed with both legs fully extended, instantly tearing
his ACL. He now owns the successful Golden
Gymnastics Academy training centre in Orlando,
Florida and trains talented gymnasts to becoming
Olympic Medalists like Gabby Douglas and Bridget
Sloan. Chong-Po Susumu is a dedicated and patient
coach, but can lose his temper when his gymnasts
mothers get in the way of his teachings.

Challenges and Conflicts

-Conflict within the mothers (They all think their daughters the most talented gymnast)
-Mothers get in the way of Coach Susumu teachings (Various reasons)
-Girls are competitive with each other but still friends
-Conflict about Avery being the best
-Sometimes gymnasts cannot master a certain trick on a particular apparatus
-The Golden Elite Jr. Competition Team does not always win at competitions which makes everyone
becomes upset and the coach becomes more fierce
-With any sport there is the occasional injury, producing in drama with a gymnast not being able to
compete
