Math Today we review Topic 16. There will be a

Reading

Next week we will not have a story out of

the text book. We will be doing reading acuity activities. There will also be themed reading material and
activities to gear up for Camp Amigo

GrammarThe class will be reviewing for a

grammar quiz next week
Writing We will continue doing journal writing and working on how to write a good paragraph.
Spelling Study!! The ending of these words
can be tricky
Social Studies We will begin Chapter 10 The
Constitution next week. We will be discussing
the three branches of government and checks
and balances.
Science Unit 4 is wrapped up. Our next Unit
of discussion will be bioengineering. The class
will be investigating the purpose of prototypes
and models when designing a solution.

Note From the Teacher:

The final preparations for Camp Amigo are underway. Please note that the bus will
leave at 7:30 am! Please plan to be here between 7:00-7:20 am so that bags can be loaded
so that we can leave on time. Students should have brought home a Final Reminder
sheet on what to pack and what to leave at home. If I do not already have medications
those need to be into our school nurse prior to April 16th. We will be returning home on
Friday around 3:30. Please be prompt in picking up your child on Friday. The weather
looks to be cool and possible rain so pack accordingly.
