Performs design for safe, operable and economic standards

Ensures the designs meet the quality and agreed project requirements
Performs as Support engineer and executes project design works
Executes the engineering & design works within budget and schedule
Co-ordinates with other disciplines & resolves the engineering issues
Provides engineering inputs during all design phases including interpretation and
challenge of standards
Actively communicates with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface, during the
design development, review and check processes
Ensures design packages meet the relevant safety, environmental & ergonomic standards
Discusses with support Engineers & Designers regularly on scope, man-hours and
schedule etc
Prepares material requisitions, evaluate technical bids & reviews vendor/ third party
documents
Participates in the Technical reviews and progress review of projects
Familiar with the Company procedures and international standards & codes
Fully experienced in different aspects of instrumentation design like basic calculations,
preparation of Datasheets of various instruments, developing specifications for field
instruments, package, and control systems, vendor drawing review, preparation of
construction activities like Hook-ups, wiring, loop drawing etc. through various stages of
design.
Experienced multidisciplinary interfacing in implementation. Extensive co-ordination
with process department for understanding of process, control philosophy of plant. Piping
department for layouts, detailed engineering, vendor interfacing.
