Maximum engine torque is standard equipment including air cleaner,

exaust system, alternator, and cooling fan, at standard conditions per SAE
J1349 and DIN 70 020, using No. 2-D fuel at 35 API gravity. No derating is
required up to 3030 m (10,000 feet) altitude. Maximum power is without
cooling fan.

Optional
The Allied ATH 28 feller-buncher is designed specifically for

steep terrain. Working on 50% and greater slopes, it's
specifically designed to take over where the competition quits. It
has lift capacities of 18,000 pounds at maximum reach (28 feet),
and will cut and bunch trees with diameters of up to 28 inches in
a swath up to 52 feet wide.

The Timberjack 608S Feller Buncher is

a stronger, more powerful addition to the
608 family. With a 205 hp (153 kW)
Cummins 6CT8.3 engine as standard,
and dedicated hydraulic pumps for the
carrier, attachment and saw blade
functions, the 608S has the power for
high levels of sustained productivity in
all conditions. A 230 hp (171 kW)
Cummins 6CTA8.3 engine is optional.
The 608S has 53,550 lbf. (238 kN) of
tractive effort, over 11% more than its
closest competitor. The increase in
tractive effort provides enhanced
mobility and performance in deep snow,
swamps and tough conditions.
A new longer main boom increases the
reach to 25-ft 8-in (7.8 m), enough to
work effectively in most 5th row
thinning applications, selective cuts or
regeneration harvesting.
The 608S uses the welded carbody, D6D
size track and tractor type rollers from
the larger Timberjack 850 feller buncher

for long term durability. Using larger
component sizes well below their
designed weight limits results in longer
component life and increases machine
stability.
A hydraulically operated enclosure
provides best-in-class service access.
The enclosure doubles as a sturdy work
platform. All routine service points such
as the engine oil dipstick and fill point,
fuel, coolant and engine oil filters are
all readily accessible from the opening
side. The enclosure pump is battery
powered allowing it to be opened
without the engine running. A hand
pump is also provided behind a lockable
door.

Service Access
Walk through service access eases cleaning and servicing. All routine service points are accessible via lockable swingout doors that can be accessed without opening the enclosure top. The enclosure is hydraulically opened and doubles as
a sturdy work area. The hydraulic enclosure pump is battery powered, with a back-up hand pump. The enclosure top is
mechanically secured when closed. Enclosure is operated from inside the cab.

Timberjack FS22 Felling Head (Standard)
Timberjack FG18 Felling Head
The reliable Timberjack FS22 has a 22 (56 cm) cutting

capacity. The front discharge system allows for a narrow
overall head width. Along with the wide 49 throat
opening, the head can easily be maneuvered in dense
stands while acquiring multiple trees. A box style design
has been used for the horn and boom adapter to give
added strength. The dual wrist cylinders provide a high
and constant torque to the wrist. To reduce parts
stocking, all four (2 wrist and 2 arm) cylinders are
common. For added strength, a single pin through the
upper and lower arms on each side distributes forces and
strengthens the entire structure.
The FG18 is a high rotation head with 220 total wrist

rotation. The offset grab arm design aligns stems
vertically in the pocket and allows for pick-up of blow
down.
The FS22 comes installed on the standard boom set. This

configuration is intended for medium to large trees
where high wrist rotation is not required.

Patented Offset Blade Design and

One Piece Rotatable Teeth
The FG18 and FG22 both feature Timberjack* field
proven disc saw blade and saw teeth. The patented
offset saw blade means less binding as the tree is cut and
moves onto the butt plate. The Timberjack disc saw
blade features integral tooth holders eliminating the
problems of bolt-on holder designs. Couple this with one
piece, long shank, rotatable teeth and you can see why
this is the most reliable tooth system in the industry.

The FG18 comes installed with the optional long main

The TG475 combines time proven components with a new robust counterweighted
upper structure to provide maximum stability in long boom reach and heavy payload
situations. State-of-the-art load sense hydraulics and highly efficient 300 horsepower
