Black Boy Analysis
Paper Due

What is oppression? What are it mechanisms and its effects? Who are its victims and perpetrators? What role do you and I play
in it? How do the oppressed fight back and what does it do to their perspective on the world? We will explore these questions
and many more from a literary, historical, and anthropological perspective. We will also improve as writers through peer editing,
classroom exercises, and fair amount of practice. Sharpen your minds and your pencils!

(3) 400-word minimum analysis papers of short stories

(1) minimum 1200-word analysis paper of Black Boy by Richard Wright
