My Philosophy of

Classroom
Management
I believe in:
Structure
-Use many different behavior management strategies
-Address individual student and whole class behavior
-Refer to classroom rules and consequences

Consistency
-Organize behavior management systems in ways that are
easy to continually follow and enforce
-Hold students accountable for their actions
-Explain to students the reason for their consequences

Positive Reinforcement
-Provide incentives for whole-class good behavior
-Offer incentives for individual good behavior
-Recognize and praise good behavior

Students helping in the collaboration with their teacher,


creating classroom rules and setting expectations for the
year. Together the teacher and students can discuss the
purpose behind the expectations in order to help
promote the values of the classroom
