He designs and implements effective short and long term lesson plans and manages his class time efficiently, while still being able to adapt with relatively short notice. Chris consistently uses a variety of teaching styles and utilizes multiple resources, refusing to rely solely on the textbook for instructional purposes. ‘The lessons and learning opportunities that Chris was able to provide for his students this year were far more consistent with that of a seasoned veteran teacher than a student inter, His creativity and «energetic personality produced a learning environment with unique and enriching lessons that went far beyond simply presenting the required material, His students were consistently and continuously engaged in activities that challenged them to use higher order thinking skills that allow them to possess a deeper understanding of history. Throughout the year, Chris was relentlessly digging to find more interesting facts, stories, and supplemental information to pass along, making his lessons more interesting and applicable to the students’ lives. Chris's ability to connect the course material to current times and issues significantly enhances his effectiveness as an educator. Additionally, Chris used frequent praise and encouragement to promote a classroom environment that made students fecl comfortable and secure. One of his strongest attributes was his ability to foster a solid working relationship with his students.
