Toads

Diet: insects, worms and other small prey species

Habitat: near ponds, swamps, and marshes.

Characteristics: Toads have drier, rough skin that looks

really bumpy, like warts. Toads are kind of wide and look
fat

Predators: snakes, owls, skunks and raccoons.

Reproduction: Female toads produce eggs and then lay

them, either on land or in shallow ponds or pools of water.
They lay 4000 to 8000 eggs in two rows. They generally
hatch in 3 to 12 days
