ACTIVITIES

Activities :
1) Teacher shows the logo of Masterchef and asks pupils to
elicit pupils knowledge about the television program. Pupils
respond Cooking program - Masterchef
e.g. Do you watch Masterchef? What is the program all
about?
2) Teacher shows two pictures (different methods of
cooking).
3) Teacher asks pupils to compare the two pictures and
discuss how they are different.
4) Teacher introduces the topic.
5) Teacher asks pupils to read the text in the textbook (pg
69)
3) Pupils and teachers discuss how the cooking methods
differ before and now.
4) Pupils work in pairs Compare and contrast the cooking

methods differ before and now using the table as a guide.

5) Pupils present their answers and teacher checks answers
with the whole class.
6) Closure: Game: Charade Pupils guess the cooking
method skills shown by their peers.
