Video lesson
Dear Journal,
This video lesson was quite interesting for me, it made me understand the
importance of student centered lesson. It allowed the students to discover learning
on their own with a few guided instructions. It went quite well; it was executed
efficiently. It made me rethink my planning and to spend more time making my
lessons more student-centered and allowing students to discover, collaborate to
understand the content of the lesson on their own.
The students were engaged in the lesson; they were able to complete the
lesson within the given time which is key in lesson planning. Despite the setback of
the projector not functioning for a few minutes, I was able to connect with each
group of students for them to complete the activity.
At the end of the lesson

, I think the objectives were achieve and the

assessment given showed how well the students were able to grasp the concept of
the lesson. Overall it was good however, there is always room for improvement in
engaging students and the creation of more effective student centered lessons.
