Protecting The Environment

Purpose: to describe the ways that people protect different BIOME regions and
their environment.
Pick 1 BIOME region from the list below:
Polar - Arctic and Subarctic (global warming)
Desert Sahara (global warming increasing them)
Wetland - Everglades (climate change, redirecting water)
Mountain - Rocky Mountains (development, roads)
Rainforest Amazon (deforestation)
Then
1. Identify and describe the different parts of the Regions environment:
climate, landforms, vegetation, water, soil and natural resources.
2. Explain why its environment is in danger
3. Describe how these regions are being protected/recovered.
4. Describe the people/agencies/governments who are protecting it.
Include a map and climate graph. Create an infographic.
