First Grade News

What were learning:
This week we are beginning a
unit on weather. We are talking
about Gabriel Fahrenheit along
with different types of
thermometers. We are also
continuing to work on time;
specifically the time the sun
rises and sets.
Questions to ask your child this week:
1. How do you know which hand
on the clock is the minute hand
and which hand is the hour
hand?
2. Where does the sun set?
3. Where does the sun rise?
4. What are the different types of
clouds?
5. How can the clouds help you
predict the weather?
6. How do we measure the
temperature in the United
States?

iPads will not be going home until after the
district audit.
