Proprietors : Mr Terence Roache and Mrs Natasha Roache

The birth of Love Big Tours came about from the directors personal travelling
experiences, knowledge and heritage of Jamaica, Brazil and St. Vincent & The
Grenadines
We are an exciting new travel company established in 2010, although tested from
2001 by director Terence Roache to the destinations mentioned.

Jamaica

The original inhabitants of Jamaica are believed to be the Arawaks, also known as
Tainos. They came from South America in approximately 5,000BC and named the
Island Xaymaca, which means land of wood and water. Arawaks were a mild and
simple people by nature.
There is a lot to do in Jamaica, visit a plantation, go horseback riding, see a historical site
or house, take a sailing cruise, scuba dive or snorkel, go river rafting, swim in a waterfall
or visit a rum factory, the possibilities are endless.
Dunns River Falls is a truly outstanding treasure offering 600ft of
cascading water falls and climbing pleasure for thousands of visitors
and locals every year. It is arguably Jamaicas most popular and
famous attraction.
Jamaica has an excellent selection of bars and clubs. Some are world
famous (drinkers have been jumping off the cliffs at Ricks Cafe in
Negril for over 30 years), but you will find a variety, from the upbeat
themed bars of the main tourist towns to the uptown bars of Kingston
and local Rum shops to the endless beach.

St. Vincent & The Grenadines

St. Vincent and The Grenadines are located in the South
Eastern Caribbean about 90 miles west of Barbados - the
likely place that you would disembark then continue your
flight to St. Vincent. The Grenadines are some 32 islands
and cays stretching south from St. Vincent. Only 8 of the
Grenadines are populated and only 4 of these have small
Airports. The remainder
are bird sanctuaries
and havens for hikers
and snorkelers. All
are volcanic in origin,
deeply embayed with inlets where clear aquamarine
waters shallow up on fine white sand beaches. The
larger islands include Bequia, Mustique, Canouan,
Palm, Petit St. Vincent, Mayreau and Union. There
are some uninhabited islets and rocks including the
famous Tobago Cays.

All the Grenadines have lovely soft white coral sand beaches and clear
water, ideal for snorkelling, diving and sailing. Although a visit to these islands may at
times seem like a step into the past, there is a measure of ones pleasure that has little
to do with clocks. St. Vincents volcanic ridges, valleys and waterfalls are fertile land
for fruits, vegetables and spices including coconuts, bananas, breadfruit, nutmeg, and
arrowroot. Boats and ferries go to the neighbouring islands of the Grenadines.

Salvador is Bahias state capital, it was founded in 1549 and quickly became the premier city
in Brazil, and the second most important city in Portuguese Empire after Lisbon.
Today the wealth of impressive colonial architecture is evidence of the cities rich history.

Although Carnival is celebrated in towns and

countries, Salvador has long been regarded as
the Carnival Capital of the world.
Carnival is the major event of the Brazilian
summer, it officially starts on the Saturday
before Lent and Continues until Shrove
Tuesday. However the city begins gearing up
for the festival many weeks before the event.

This is a island you have to visit, just of the coast of Salvador, a short boat or plane ride
away, you can relax in the magic of this beautiful tropical paradise. After your affair with
the Salvador carnival this is a ideal place to escape to. People spend days here turning
it in to the after party for a carnival with a difference.

Live music and a night life you couldnt believe, clubs open all night on the beach,
no cars on this island just sandy tracks and horse carts to take you around.
Some of the beaches of Morro de Sao Paulo are named due to their order in the
coast.
The first beach is very close to the village and
is very popular with the villagers. The second
beach is all about partying. There are people
playing capoeira, frescobol and soccer during
the day and having party all night long. In
the third beach you can take a boat to visit
neighbour islands. The fourth beach is very
peaceful, quite like the Gamboa beach. It is
also surrounded by ecological paradises:

neighbour island of Boipeba.
