Felicidades!

Scenario:

You have won a trip to a destination of your choosing in Latin America or Spain.
Where will you go and what will you see?

Interpretive:
Students will look at brochures from different attractions in Spanish speaking countries. As I describe them in
Spanish the students will draw a picture of them in the country in which they are located. Assessing listening skills
and if students can locate countries. There will also be a short worksheet that they must fill out. Some of the
questions that will be included are:

Where is this located?


What kinds of activities are in the brochure?
What is the brochure about?
Find any cognates you see/heard

There would also be some open-ended questions such as: what would you like to do there?
Interpersonal:
Students will discuss where they want to travel with me (the travel agent booking their trip)
I will ask them questions such as: Do you want to go see___? Do you want to go to (country)?
Discussion must include: various countries and attractions located there
Presentational:
The students must create an advertisement about the vacation they will be taking. It must include the country they
will be traveling to, a map with the country on it, various attractions located there, and something they like about
the country.
