What is a ray?
Has 1 endpoint
Named by its endpoint
Extends infinitely long in one
direction
It is a portion of a line which
starts at a point and goes off in a
particular direction infinitely.
Vertical Angles
each of the pairs of opposite angles made by
two intersecting lines
The picture shows vertical angles because
they intersect
Acute Triangle
all angles are less than right angleseach one is
less than 90 degrees.
In the picture all angles are less than 90 degrees
Obtuse Triangle
one angle is greater than a right angleit is
more than 90 degrees
The picture shows one side that is an obtuse
and other is straight.
Equilateral Triangles
all three internal angles are also congruent to each
other and are each 60.
This rubic cube shows triangles that all sides are
equal
Isosceles Triangles
has two sides of equal length
This picture is a piece of pizza which two sides
are equal and the other is not.
Scalene Triangle
has three unequal sides
This picture shows all three sides are unequal
