Kaieteur Falls.

It is said that Kaieteur is jumping world's largest water, with a height


five times higher than Niagara Falls. can be reached by air or
through a walk of several days.
Iwokrama Reserve
It is home to 475 species of birds (including toucans, swallows and
parrots), 400 species of fish and 90 species of bats. Howler monkeys,
jaguars, butterflies, alligators and anacondas also live in this place that is
visited by lovers of eco-tourism. Makushi, ancient inhabitants of the area,
are responsible for the conservation of reseva in collaboration with
government and private companies.
Cathedral of St. George
This is one of the tallest buildings in the world wood (its highest
point reaches 43 meters high), constructed out of wood native

Animals
In forests and mountain areas are armadillos, capybaras, sloths, jaguars, tapirs and
ocelots, and various species of monkeys, deer and anteaters.
Guyana has a variety of colorful tropical birds among which are the tinamou, the cock
of the rock, the bell bird, grunt and several species of hummingbirds and macaws.
Across the country can find the kiskad or Guyana sparrow hawks and herons. In rivers
can be found piranhas and alligators become a pest in estuaries, and also has a great
diversity of tropical snakes like the boa and anaconda. Insects represent a rich set
being characteristic ants, locusts, termites, flies and mosquitoes.
