Who would be the audience for your media product?

My target audience is specifically aimed at males around 15-30

years of age, this is because this genre of music (indie rock) is a
more male dominated genre, however many females do still like
this type of music. On the front cover of my magazine is a new up
and coming band, I chose to do a new band because I knew that
'indie scenesters' liked new bands and the changes in the music
industry. However my target audience does not just like new
bands, they also like old well established band, as i found out from
my research on uk tribes, which is why I decided to include names
such as the Libertines and Noel Gallagher as I knew these would
attract many peoples attention. Indie scenesters are dedicated to
finding the latest up and coming music, they likes seeing new
bands becoming successful which is why they will like
this magazine because it has a new band on the front cover so
they will immediately want to read about it.

Foals, SBTRKT, the cribs, the Courteeners, Blur, Artic monkeys,
the strokes, the libertines, the Maccabees, the xx, crystal castles,
Radiohead, stone roses, happy Mondays, talking heads, TEED,
klaxons, peace, swim deep, pulp, Paul Weller, Jake Bugg.

Pulp fiction, trainspotting, the Shawshank redemption, Harry
Brown, Quadrophenia, The experiment, Almost famous, Forest
Gump, The bank job, Space jam, The boat that rocked, Inception,
Gone girl.
