1. Please provide a detailed summary describing the artifact and its purpose.
In my English class we wrote a This I Believe essay. The essay we wrote was to 300-500 words.
The purpose of the This I Belief essay was to make an essay using descriptive details. Also it was
to show how our belief changed our lives today. We had to make two rough drafts and the final
draft. After the final draft was done we had to post our draft in the believe website. The This I
Believe essay had to have 3 rough drafts.
2. Identify and list the GLPO(s) that were satisfied in completing this artifact. In addition. These
explain how these GLPO(s) were met by specially referring to the examples or evidence from the
artifact.
One of the GLPO(s) was to communicate ideas. I communicated ideas was when sharing my
belief with other classmates. Another GLPO(s) was Recognize perspective. I recognize
perspective when we discussed how other people got their belief. Another recognize perspective
is when we had worksheets and use context clues to see their belief. These belief help make my
own belief.
3. What skills and concepts were learned in completing this artifact and how will they affect your
future.
Some skills I got in the This I Believe project is to use more details. Using more detail will help
me in my story be more creative. One concept I learned is clichs are bad. Clichs are bad will
help me because I will not clichs in my essay. Another concept is Internet will not work in the
last minute. It will not work when everyone is trying in the same time.

4. What might you do differently if you were able to recreate or revise the final draft?
There are a lot of changes I would add. One thing I might do differently is to add more details. I
would want to add details because my story was kind of dull. Another thing I would put is ask
the teacher if she could check my work. I would ask her to check my work because she could
give me feedback on my essay.
