Amanda Anderson successfully completed her pre-student teaching in chemistry under the supervision of Donna Jones at Warren Mott High School. During this time, Ms. Anderson worked with small groups, set up labs, monitored students during labs, and taught whole class lessons. She also wrote reflective journals, developed lesson plans and a unit plan, created a management plan, and researched teaching positions for Dr. Jones' teaching course. Dr. Jones recommends Ms. Anderson for a teaching position in either mathematics or chemistry, as her work was excellent and she showed care for students and an understanding that engaging lessons lead to good classroom management.

Amanda
Anderson
successfully
completed
pre-student
teaching
in
chemistry
at
Warren
Mott
High
School
under
my
supervision.
Ms.
Anderson
was
responsible
for
working
with
small
groups,
setting
up
labs,
monitoring
students
during
labs,
and
teaching
whole
class
lessons.
At
the
same
time
she
was
a
part
of
my
Teaching
in
the
Middle
and
Secondary
Classroom
course.
Her
responsibilities
for
the
course
was
to
write
reflective
journals
on
her
classroom
experiences,
develop
lesson
plans
and
a
unit
plan,
create
a
management
plan,
and
research
a
teaching
and
learning
position.
All
of
Ms.
Andersons
work
was
top
notch.
She
went
the
extra
mile
in
her
classroom
assignment;
going
in
early
and
staying
late.
It
is
my
pleasure
to
recommend
Ms.
Anderson
for
a
teaching
position
in
mathematics,
her
major,
or
chemistry,
the
minor.
She
is
energetic
and
shows
caring
for
the
students.
She
understands
that
the
best
management
plan
is
an
effective,
engaging
lesson
plan.
I
am
confident
that
she
will
be
an
asset
to
a
secondary
school.
