To Whom It May Concern:

Amanda Anderson successfully completed pre-student teaching in chemistry at Warren Mott High
School under my supervision. Ms. Anderson was responsible for working with small groups, setting up
labs, monitoring students during labs, and teaching whole class lessons. At the same time she was a part
of my Teaching in the Middle and Secondary Classroom course. Her responsibilities for the course was
to write reflective journals on her classroom experiences, develop lesson plans and a unit plan, create a
management plan, and research a teaching and learning position. All of Ms. Andersons work was top
notch. She went the extra mile in her classroom assignment; going in early and staying late.
It is my pleasure to recommend Ms. Anderson for a teaching position in mathematics, her major, or
chemistry, the minor. She is energetic and shows caring for the students. She understands that the best
management plan is an effective, engaging lesson plan. I am confident that she will be an asset to a
secondary school.
Please feel free to contact if further comment is needed.
