nvolves a family of five living under a small
roof. The Younger family is tight knit, and dependent on support from one another. As we
talk about the play, Walter Younger will inadvertently take the spotlight as he makes
himself the most visible unit of the Younger family. Putting Walter to the side for this
assignment, you are to focus on the the plays three women--each with their own strong,
individual ideals--who all share this singular space.
