I am pleased to recommend Taylor Lederman for a teaching position. She is an

excellent teacher.
In my capacity as a Field Instructor for Michigan State University, I have worked
with Taylor on a weekly basis since August 2014. Her internship for the entire year
was in the Farmington Public Schools, Farmington, Michigan. This is a suburban
school district with a diverse population of students. Gill Elementary is a K-4
building that serves 503 students. The first semester she was in a K-4 resource room.
Her second semester was in a first grade classroom.

Taylor manages small and large groups equally well with a calm professional
manner. She uses many resources to give meaning and interest to curriculum. She is
eager to teach and goes above and beyond in planning and working with students.
She is a confident leader. This allows the students to have structure and safety which
then leads to successful learning. She also has good rapport with students and is
respectful of all of them.
She is a pleasant person with whom to work. The teachers that she worked with
expressed the fact that Taylor is such a hard worker and good teacher. She is also
open to feedback on her teaching. She then puts the suggestions and new ideas into
practice. I believe any school would be fortunate to have Taylor on the staff.
Taylor is a team player. One of her strengths is her ability to work well with other
adults. This will be such an asset as a special education teacher. It is for these
reasons that I offer high recommendations for Taylor without reservation. Any
school would be fortunate to have Taylor on staff.
