Middle East and North Africa remain the most repressed of any region in the world" and
talks about multiple reports of crimes against women. He also has several statistics about
the topic and this could be used in my reasoning on why women are being violated of
human rights.

how it affects the women in that region. This also gives some facts that can be used in the
anchor piece and/or introductory letter.

article contains many facts and statistics that are used to back up their opinions about the
terror in Africa.

Tahirih who fought for women's rights in the middle east. This could give some insight
on what it was really like to live in Iran and show what it takes to make a difference. As
well as the punishment in doing so. The article could also possibly be used for a source
and inspiration for a snapshot.
Walsh, Janet. "Women's Property Rights Violations And HIV/AIDS In Africa." Peace Review

hardships the women in Africa go through in their lives. She list several of the effects of
being a widow and the property rights that go with that. She also gives an example of a
woman who has become a widow and all that has been taken away from her.
