I would like to provide a letter of recommendation for Mrs. Crystal Sierra for any
technology/digital based opportunities.
I serve as Principal at Clute Intermediate School, a campus of approximately 940 fifth
through eighth grade students. Mrs. Sierra is a 8th grade Math/Algebra I teacher. She has great
skills in establishing respectful relationships with her students, parents, and colleagues. She
clearly values people and treats everyone with kindness and respect. In regards to her
performance, she makes Math relevant and meaningful to the children of her classes. I have
observed her to be a data-driven and technological experienced teacher that is liked by her students
and effective at helping them learn.
Finally, Mrs. Sierra goes above and beyond to make our school a more child-centered
place. She has taken on many roles here at CIS: Department level leader for Math, assist with
various campus functions and assist in extracurricular activities. She has been an assist to our
campus.
For these reasons, and many more, I recommend you give Mrs. Sierra consideration as an
instructor for technology or digital learning opportunities.
