    becomingaradiologistisachallengingcareertogetinto,butIhaveastrongdesiretohelp
    peopleandmakesurethatpeopleinmycommunityaregettingthebesthealthcare.Growingup,
    Ihavealwaysbeenabletorelatetopeopleeasily.Myparentsdidfostercareforthemajorityof
    mylifeandImetmanykidswhosufferedhealthproblemsduetoneglectanddrugabusebefore
    beingenteredintothefostercaresystem.Mymotivationforhelpingotherpeoplehasstemmed
    fromseeingothersinneedfromanearlyage.
    Ithriveinmyschoolenvironmentandhavemanyfriends.Someofmyfriendsareschool
    staffwhogivemeguidancewhenIneedit.IamalsoamemberofMercedBaptistChurchand
    amtherewheneverthedoorsareopen.Ivolunteertohelpwiththeyoungerkidsandlove
    learningnewthingsineachsermon.Ialsospendalotoftimewithmyfamily,andsincemy
    parentshaverecentlysplitup,IusuallytrytohelpmymomoutasmuchasIcanwithkeepingup
    onmychoresandbykeepingmygradesup.Iamthemiddlechildoffiveandamtheoldeststill

    athome.Withmyparentsdivorce,mymotherandlegalguardianhashadareallytoughtime
    providingforusthreekidsathome.Iamhopingtofurthermyeducationandtobeoneofthefew
    inmyfamilytoevergetacollegedegree.Ibelievebyfollowingmydreamofbecominga
    radiologistthatIwouldbehelpingmycommunityandmyfamilybygivingbackinthebestway
    thatIcan.
