Influence of changes on behavior and emotional reactions


Introduction:
The given case study portrays establishment of Defense communication services agency
(DCSA). A strong understanding can be developed for its concerned communities to carry out
changes and to umpire the effect of those changes. Abrupt changes, their effects and response of
employees and relevant higher staff in Ministry of Defence (MOD) are discussed briefly, which is
really helpful for reader and students for having clear view state of changes effects in MOD.
With passage of time to enhance efficiency in performance of DCSA some changes brought
forward. Though Owners, employees and, customers may have their own views, according to which
changes sometimes are favorable and sometimes are considered unfavorable for them but changes
are something done for being benefit of organization as a whole. The objective behind the changes
program in DCSA was to improve level of customer focus agency. One more good effect reported
was promotion of real teamwork at all levels which increases competition among employees, which
result in high motivational level of the employees in order to achieve organizational goal.
It was observed that senior team found ambitious for changes line up and was strongly
supported. In addition, behaviors affected in a way that management started reporting progress to
stakeholders and programs started managing according to government commence. Senior team got
portrait what to be achieving for organization. Those changes influence negatively more to
employees emotions which directly influence their performance for goal achievement. They
assumed these changes brought specifically for owner initiative. Some employees resisted changes
as they were less adaptive or inflexible.
Conclusively, it is analyzed that changes may take time to be accepted but most of the time they
are considered favorable in regard of both the organization and employee. Remarkable turns need to

be taken to reach destinations. Being part of organization, one should accept changes and must give
suggestions accordingly in order to have the defined goals and objectives.
