Treasurer report: Bank Balance: 515.41
Annual accounts have been audited and will be sent to P & K by end of March.
Guidance needed on election for C.C. election this year.
Note to all community councillors to submit all expense forms as the current term for c.c
ends in May.
Police report a new operation light highlighting the folly of leaving items in your car in full
view. A fire in Hunly Wood, Clays thrown on carriageway at cars. Theft of a JCB in Kingwsell
Road, lead stolen from Invergowrie Church and School and surrounding area, 2 males have
been traced to Cumbria relating to theft in the Carse of Gowire, it was also noted that at this
time of year bogus workmen are in the area offering to do gardening, roofing, driveways
etc. Please check all credentials and never part with money before any work completed and
you are completely satisfied if you are unsure please check with their company or local
trading standards.
Menzies High School closure meeting in Inchture next Thursday 7p.m. P & K Education Dept
available for your qs L. Laing to draft a letter on behalf of Community Council. Update at
next meeting.
Darryle McKewon update at next meeting. Community Safety Officer re jobs in the
Community also for May meeting.
The Memorial Garden has been updated by the Community Trust and there have been
many positive comments on how good it is looking. A resident noticed a word has been
misspelled on the plaque (now been corrected). Thanks to Jim Smart for all his hard word
prior to the upgrade (he has now resigned) and thanks also to Doug Boyack who is
continuing to keep the planters looking beautiful.
