However, make sure you put them in ABC order for the column they belong in. For example
alphabetize the words in the VCC column or the oddball column separately.
Choose two activities from the list below to complete. Check the box next to the
activities you complete. Select one from the first three choices. Then select
one from the last two choices. Remember to do your best work!
Word Detective: Discover new words by looking up the definition for 12 of
your spelling words. Just write one definition for words that have multiple
meanings.

Write all of your spelling words in a Pyramid Format. You start with the first
letter in the first line. Then below that you write the first two letters of the
word. Below that you write the first three letters of the word and so forth
until you have one line for every letter in the word.
Write each word backwards three times each. Use a different color for
each word.
Write 15 good, detailed sentences (at least 8-10 words long). Each sentence
should use one of your spelling words. Please underline the spelling word.
Write a story using 15 of your words. Make sure you use correct punctuation.
Underline the words you use in your story.
* Ask someone to give you a pretest! Write the words you spell wrong three times
