John is a proven sales manager with experience running a successful retail operation. Experience includes
developing direct customer relationships, routing a multi-store truck operation, making the necessary
adjustments to increase profitability, and managing a team of 5-20 employee/volunteers on a daily basis. While
managing a Habitat for Humanity Restore, John has developed excellent customer service skills and a high level
of professionalism.
OBJECTIVE
To join a business or organization that will allow me to utilize my skills and abilities, as well as my education in
Business Administration. To help a business grow through effective marketing strategies and efficient human
resource management. To become a better leader through personal development, and as a result, train and
develop other future leaders for the business or organization.

John became an entry level employee in 2010. Through hard-work and a dedication to the organization, John
has occupied multiple positions including Assistant Driver, Donations Coordinator, Assistant Manager, and
finally, Manager.
Used Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis in order to route the company trucks for each
day.
Assisted with expanding the company into new locations due to significant growth.
Attended Management seminars in order to further develop sales skills.
Became Store Manager in 2012, and has managed a sales team of between 5-20
employee/volunteers.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Currently attending CCBC to complete an Associates Degree in Business Administration.


Completed courses including Human Resources, Accounting, and Economics.
Will pursue a Bachelors Degree in Business Management upon completion.
Trained in completing basic Accounting financial statements, including income statements,
cash flow analysis, and account journals.
Educated in Human Resource laws, including OSHA, Title VII Civil Rights Act, Equal Employment
Opportunity, and Affirmative Action.
