The Debators' Society of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad organized an inter-house debate competition for class 7 students on July 15th, 2015 where the topic debated was "Working Women Are Better Mothers". Aadya Katiyar from Jhelum House won first place in the competition by raising solid arguments on both sides of the topic, followed by Sami Ali Rizvi from Cauvery House and Sakshi Singh from Godavari House in second and third place respectively. The Debators Society of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad organized an Inter-house Debate competition for the students of class 7 on 15th July, 2015. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The audience witnessed a fruitful and stimulating debate. Solid arguments were raised on both sides by the contestants to prove their point thereby emphasizing the fact that speech is power; speech is to persuade. The topic for the day was Working Women Are Better Mothers. Ms. Krishna Singh, Headmistress, Secondary Wing lauded the performance of all the participants. Aadya Katiyar, Jhelum House won the I position, followed by Sami Ali Rizvi, Cauvery House. Sakshi Singh, Godavari House was adjudged III. In all, the programme was a great success.
