Intro: (Person standing at the front door)
Hello, this is~~
Explain about AMES: Our School, AMES tries to serve a diverse
student body and students who are economically disadvantaged.
<A person opens a door and goes inside>
<Walking in the hallway and stop at the front of the class>

AMES is an Early College High School. Our classes are taught at an
honors level, and we also offers AP classes and University of Utah
classes.

+We may record the video of robotics, student council, or other
clubs how its going on and interview teachers
+interview seniors, How many colleges did you apply?, or ask
about AP Tests?
Students who are taking AP classes usually take AP tests. They are
$89 each and many students cannot afford them.
At the end:
Please help our student by giving them the opportunity to be
prepared for. You can help support them to build their dreams.

We are doing well as a school.
We are financially sound.
We do have money to pay or bills.
Bus and insurance costs have risen the last few years
We are funded on how many students we have and we
are at our cap.
We are an Early College High School which tries to serve:
1st generation college attenders
A diverse student body (52% ethnic diversity)
Economically disadvantaged students (48%-42%)
We offer rigor:
Classes are taught at an honors level
AP classes
University of Utah classes
We:

Graduate 98% of our students not counting those that


obtain a GED certificate
We have had students win the Gates Millennium
Scholarship
60% of our seniors earn scholarships to college
Need:
AP tests are $89 each and many students cannot afford
them
We pay for 1college application, many seniors apply to
more than one
school.
