Based on the general observations, the volumetric flow rate of water through the cooler is assumed to
be 150 L/ hour . The temperature of water available to the cooler is assumed to be 30O C whereas
the temperature of the water coming out of the cooler is assumed to be 10o C . The evaporator
temperature is taken to be 5o C with a degree of superheat of 3o C . The condenser temperature is
assumed to be 40 o C . Based on the above assumptions, the following T-s and P-h plots have been
drawn for an ideal vapor compression cycle.
