Isabella Simerson
Isabella Simerson is a sophomore at Oklahoma State University.
Simerson was born in 1995 in Frisco, Texas. She graduated from high school in 2013 and
is expected to graduate from Oklahoma State University in 2016. She is the youngest of three
children. Her older sister recently graduated from college, and her older brother also attends
Oklahoma State University.
Simerson began her college career in the fall of 2013. She is earning a bachelor of
science in Strategic Communications. She is a student in the Honors College. She has received
the Deans Honor Roll award every semester at Oklahoma State University.
She is a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America and the Ready to
Lead Certificate Program. She has a semester of writing experience at the school newspaper, The
OColly. She also attends regular hall government meetings at her dormitory and spends her free
time volunteering in the Stillwater community.
Simerson is also receiving two scholarships from other sources. She receives the
Nonresident Achievement Scholarship from Oklahoma State University. She also receives a band
scholarship from Frisco High School and the Frisco Education Foundation.
