Friday, April 17th, 2015 Old Governors Mansion

Ghosts
Huey Long

Huey moved in the Mansion and lived here when it opened in


1930. The Mansion was also home to his wife, Rose, and their
three children, Russell, Palmer and Rose. Tonight, Huey is being
portrayed by Curran Latas & Miss Rose Long is being portrayed by
Alexis Trahan.

Richard Leche

Richard lived in the Mansion from 1936-1939 with his wife Elton
and son Dickie. Tonight, Mrs. Elton Leche is being portrayed by
Ashley Landrieu.

Earl Long

Earl lived in the Mansion multiple times between the years of 19391940, 1948-1952, & 1956- 1960. He spent time in the Mansion with
wife Blanche. And then there was the infamous Blaze Starr!
Tonight, Earl is being portrayed by Cullen Hodges.

Sam Jones

Sam lived in the Mansion from 1940-1944 with his wife Louise
and their two children, Robert & Carolyn, as well as Louises two
children James & William Boyer. The Jones family was accompanied by their tabby named Katt. Tonight, Mrs. Louise Jones is being
portrayed by Delaney Dupree.

Jimmie Davis

Jimmie was the last Governor to live in the Mansion and resided
here with his wife, Alvern, between the years of 1944-1948 & 19601964. Tonight, Jimmie is being portrayed by Trey Tycer.
