Dear Judges;
Hi my name is Brandon Kulcsar. I am a student athlete who tries his hardest to get As and Bs in
all classes. I have attended Saint James High School for all four years of my high school career.
As Graduation approaches, I am becoming more nervous about my grades and what the future
might hold. I am also very excited to be graduating and further my education at the collegiate
level.
Every year that I have played football at St. James, one or more of my teammates have receive a
concussion. During the time of that teammates concussion he was out of practice anywhere from
a few days to multiple weeks. I have always been curious about what a concussion really is, how
it is caused, and how to treat one. By doing the research for this project I can be better prepared
to be a great athletic trainer if I ever decide to become one.
The process of the Senior Exploration was difficult in the beginning because of trying to play
sports and work at the same time, but the more I did for Senior Exploration the more it became
routine. One obstacle that hindered my path to completion was trying to finish everything while
playing lacrosse six days per week. The Senior Exploration has made my senior year more
stressful because I do not like writing essays and letters.
I would like to thank you for all of the time you have put into being involved with Senior
Exploration. I would also like to thank you for helping all seniors to become better prepared for
college and future life.
