on classical instrumentation. The

third volume appears nearly fourteen
years after Soundtrack 2 Landing
at Dawn was originally released in
cassette form in 2001 and Soundtrack for
Short Film in 1999. Both of these albums
were re-released on CD in 2014.

Soundtrack 3 Penetrating continues the theme

with instrumental ambience but goes further with more
vocal explorations. This compilation of re-worked older
recordings and recently recorded compositions contain
Cocoons typical dark ambience featuring his signature instrument,
the guitar synthesizer. Hints of the cosmic combine with neoclassical and quirky compositions accompanied by the classical piano
of special guest, Robbie Ragg.
Sombre 12 string instrumentals all the way through the spectrum to
quasi-trance, Tony Tralongos Cocoon doesnt hesitate to take the music
where it needs to go. Overall, the album is dark, cosmic, introverted
and emotionally charged.
