Thermolite denim fabric is more expensive than other functional denims because it uses yarn from Invista, a specialized producer. Invista requires the yarn to make up at least 25% of the fabric composition to qualify for using the Thermolite label. While Thermolite can be used for a 72.5% cotton and 27.5% polyester blend, it is not suitable for very high cotton content fabrics like 98/2 or 99/1 cotton/polyester. Testing will be done to validate that the Thermolite fabric meets standards, and results will be shared. The supplier believes it is fair for clients to pay delivery charges for samples larger than 4-5 yards due to shipping costs.

A1. I had revised our prices for your reference, please find the quotation in attached. As reason why our thermolite functional denims price is higher than our further functional denim, its because we purchase the yarn of Invista, therefore the price is higher than others. Do you know about Invista? I also attached some instruction of Invista for your reference as well. Q2. Why Thermolite is not possible for C/Spdx-98/2 or 99/1? Why thermolite is possible for C/T: 72.5/ 27.5? A2. C means cotton and the percentage is 72.5 for yarn which we use in warp; T means poly and the percentage is 27.5 for yarn we use in weft. Weft side will touch our skin when we put on the jeans, therefore we will use functional yarn in weft for the purpose. Per the point 1 I explain to you, we use Invistas thermolite functional yarn to bring warm effect, as per Invistas request and spec., we must use the functional yarn over 25% above then Invista will approve our applying for the thermolite hangtag. It means our denim is certificated by Invista that the jeans which made of our denim fabrics is for sure to have THERMOLITE WARN EFFECT. Meanwhile, we development new denim fabrics according to clients order request, if you get the order and the denim fabrics need to be development, we can offer our professional service for you as well. Q3. Just tell me will this fabric pass in test? If you have please send me the test result. A3. We are going to send our THERMOLITE denim fabric to TIS for having the testing result, I will forward our report to you once I receive it. Q4. Delivery charge is paid by receiver. A4. Kindly understand that we can offer the samples with FOC under 4 or 5 yards, therefore we will ask all our clients to pay the delivery payment, I think its fair for both of us. Business partnership is built under the trust between my clients and us, I will always do my best to provide my best service to my valued clients such as you. I hope to have your understanding for this point. M.
