Dimensions in mm 1 Scope and field of application ‘This standard specifies dimensions, masses and symbols for single direction thrust ball bearings with flat or spherical back faces (‘thrust ball bearings’, for short), To satisty practical needs of bearing users, this standard specifies bearings in sizes selected trom among all the possible sizes for thrust ball bearings given in table 2 of 180 104 ~ 1979, 2. 'b) Parts 1 and 3 have been combined to farm one standard Explanatory notes ‘The outside dimensions of thrust ball bearings comply with Intemational Standard 180 104 — 1979, In comparison with the previous edition of this standard, the chamfer dimensions have been amended in accordance with DIN 620 Part 6 and thus conform to ISO 582 ~ 1979, This will not adversely affect interchangeability provided thet the ‘undercut in the shaft or housing has been designed as epeciied in DIN 5418, International Patent Classification F isc 19/10
